Director of Product and Project Development - (1 Year) Secondment Opportunity -Oman Adventure Centre, Muscat Office Unit: Operations Unit Job Level: Executive Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Purpose · The Director of Product and Project Development at Oman Adventure Center is responsible for leading the strategic planning, innovation, and execution of adventure and attraction projects. This role ensures that all projects align with the companys mission to deliver world-class adventure tourism experiences while fostering sustainability, innovation, and profitability. Responsibilities · Develop and oversee the strategic roadmap for product and project development. · Identify market trends and drive innovation in adventure and attraction experiences. · Align project development initiatives with Oman’s Vision 2040 and sustainable tourism goals. · Lead the end-to-end development of adventure tourism products and attractions. · Collaborate with government entities, tourism stakeholders, and investors. · Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards. · Research and analyze adventure tourism trends globally and regionally to identify growth opportunities. · Develop partnerships with leading adventure tourism providers and organizations worldwide. · Ensure alignment with international best practices in adventure tourism development and sustainability. · Collaborate with government tourism bodies to position Oman as a global adventure tourism hub. · Monitor and implement industry innovations, including technology-driven adventure experiences. · Benchmark Oman Adventure Center’s offerings against top global adventure destinations. · Promote responsible and eco-friendly adventure tourism practices to align with environmental goals. Education & Experience · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field. Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Key Skills & Competencies · Strong expertise in adventure tourism and attractions development. Project management and financial planning skills. Knowledge of regulatory and environmental sustainability standards. Key Relationships Internal: Development, Finance, Operations, and Marketing teams. External: Government authorities, investors, adventure tourism operators, and strategic partners.
