Strategic Contribution

? Support the implementation of strategic initiatives to strengthen OMRAN’s data protection and business continuity framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and company objectives.

? Collaborate with Line Manager to contribute to the development of data protection and continuity strategies, ensuring their integration into OMRAN’s operational risk management practices.

Group

OMRAN being a Group/Holding level government-owned company, it is expected from all its staff members to provide services within the domain of their Job Description to OMRAN, its subsidiary companies, and its other assets, whenever required and requested by their Line Managers in accordance to the company’s needs and as seen appropriate by the senior management of OMRAN.

 

Operational

? Implement data protection policies and procedures across OMRAN and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with national and international laws.

? Conduct regular risk assessments and audits of data processing activities, identifying and mitigating risks.

? Develop and update the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and ensure it is integrated into all levels of the organization.

? Manage the response to any data protection incidents or breaches, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.

? Lead training initiatives to raise awareness of data protection and business continuity protocols among employees.

? Coordinate with ICT, legal, and other relevant teams to ensure that data protection and business continuity measures are robust and effective.

Related Assignments

Perform any other related tasks or assignments as directed by line manager.

 

Education & Experience

? Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Law, or Business Administration.

? At least 5years of experience in data protection, risk management, or a related field.

Experience in business continuity planning and crisis management.
